"Lighters" is a song from American hip hop duo Bad Meets Evil, a group composed of Royce da 5'9" and Eminem. It impacted radio on July 5, 2011 as the second single from their first EP Hell: The Sequel. The song features American singer-songwriter Bruno Mars, who was not in the original cut. The song is about people who have hated Eminem and is also about Royce da 5'9"'s rising fame. Eminem and Royce da 5'9" have said that they wanted to attempt something different and wanted to break the typical album format that stereotypical hip hop artists use.
